Dash of Color

from $100.00

I’ve said it before but there should be tax credits for people who have old cars and large dogs. They both are terrible to own but bring joy to society. My neighborhood in San Francisco happens to have a mechanic’s shop that specializes in old vehicles. I’ll often walk a block out of my way to see what’s parked on the street as they play a giant sliding puzzle with classic cars. I’ve watched this old Chevy slowly go from rust bucket to show quality over the last year. The interior reminds me of the men in white shirts and black ties working in the General Motors design center and the flamboyance of the 1960s. The classic lines penned by hand in front of a more modern form of art: graffiti. Remember: “chrome don’t get you home”.

Suggested listening: Low Rider by War

This is a limited edition print (20), hand signed and printed on museum grade photo paper.
