Lake Louise
Captured in Alberta, Canada. Visiting Lake Louise for the first time since I was 9 was a mixed bag of emotions. It had become packed with busloads of tourists taking fake adventure photos on the shore. Others rented canoes for $95 an hour while struggling to paddle. Here, I tried to capture the low hanging clouds in black and white while keeping the lake’s natural beauty. The end effect is three distinct layers of energy.
Printed on Canson Baryta with a 2” border using archival pigments (8x12s are printed on lustre paper, no border).
